Seismic Geomorphology
Our intuitive 3D visualisation and GIS interpretation workflow delivers detailed depositional environment, play fairway and risk segment maps for key geological intervals that tie your well & seismic data. Final products clearly communicate basin evolution and geological models in a way that stimulates engagement & discussion.
Seismic is conditioned, processed and visualised using our multi-attribute RGB or CMY blending approach. Areas of interest are interpreted in GIS drafting software, producing prospect-scale depositional environment maps, or “3DE” maps that are rendered onto paleo-depositional surfaces in 3D.
Deliverables include seismic attribute volumes & horizon slices, geo-referenced RGB images & “3DE” maps and their constituent shapefiles, which can be displayed in GIS and most interpretation software packages.

We test several seismic attributes before extracting them across hundreds of horizons. More than just pretty pictures, these multi-attribute extractions provide high spatial & temporal resolution and are ideal inputs to shallow hazard studies, or to integrate with velocity model building and depth imaging steps during seismic processing.
Data conditioning and spectral enhancement
We apply industry-leading algorithms and filters to remove random and coherent noise, while preserving primary data. Your output data has better S:N ratio, greater dynamic range, improved event continuity and vertical resolution. This translates to clearer data and better results from subsequent processes & workflows.
Noise conditioning can provide a significant uplift to vintage 2D and often produces a fit-for-purpose, cost-effective solution before committing to full seismic reprocessing.
Spectral enhancement can improve vertical resolution and detectability thresholds. Aggressive applications boost bandwidth to its limit for detailed reflector termination & seismic sequence strat studies and reservoir characterisation.

Petro-elastic modelling, attribute analysis and 1D inversion at well locations gives insights into data quality, resolution, rock physics properties and the likelihood of achieving meaningful results from further work.
Simultaneous Inversion & Bayesian Facies Classification
Extracting the elastic information from your gathers or angle stacks can help de-risk reservoir presence, quality and pore fluid fill. Simultaneous Inversion is a proven technique for generating VpVs ratio and absolute acoustic impedance attributes from migrated gathers or angle stacks. VpVs ratio often demonstrates greater separability between reservoir, non-reservoir and, in some cases, hydrocarbon-brine zones.
Take your inversion products further by linking them to lithology and fluid facies logs at your wells. We take your petrophysical evaluation or lithology logs and link them to AI and VpVs attributes using probability density functions and Bayesian statistics. Deliverables include SEGY volumes of most likely facies and probability of encountering a facies type.
